I’ve seen better – but worse too
The warm and attentive welcome from Ethna made my stay truly exceptional! The stunning views and top-notch cleanliness of the apartment were extra bonuses that made it feel luxurious.
While the location was great, parking logistics could be a bit tricky. It was a minor inconvenience but worth noting.

Perfectly suited for couples
We arrived to find a nice bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge, just a little something to. Ethna, the host, made sure we had everything we needed and even left fresh flowers in the room. The view from the attic was lovely,, we couldn't stop talking about it during our evening walks.
It wasn't exactly pocket change,, but for the experience,, it was well worth it.

Just spent three nights in the Loughrigg Apartment—absolutely stunning views! Ethna was so welcoming, and the roll-top bath overlooking Ambleside was a highlight. The steep walk back up is a workout, but the views make it all worthwhile. Can't wait to return!

easy strolls near charming parks and local attractions
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially the stunning views over Ambleside and Loughrigg from my room, which made every moment special while I was recovering after walks around Moss Eccles Tarn and Rydal Water, both of which are super close and accessible in just a few steps.

Spotless apartment with stunning Loughrigg views.

The steepness of the stairs could use improvement for access!!! A more accessible layout would definitely enhance the experience !!! It would be nice if the outdoor views were more easily enjoyed without the effort of climbing!!!

The stunning views from the apartment made each moment special, particularly while enjoying the lovely lounge area with its comfortable furnishings. The fully equipped kitchen also stood out, making it easy to prepare meals during the stay. the steep hill to the location may pose a challenge for those with mobility concerns, and the furnishings could benefit from modernization. Limited headroom on one side of the bed due to the sloping ceiling added a unique character but may be inconvenient for taller guests.
